Tottenham fans send Djed Spence message to Antonio Conte after Rennes debut

Supporters of Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur have taken to social media in numbers on Saturday, to send a message to head coach Antonio Conte regarding the talents of Djed Spence.
On the back of a nightmare opening half to the campaign in north London, right-back Spence, of course, was farmed out on loan last month.

And the Rennes faithful, on Saturday, were afforded their first opportunity to see the club's latest addition in action.
Afforded a starting berth by boss Bruno Genesio, Spence featured alongside fellow Spurs loanee Joe Rodon in a Ligue 1 meeting with LOSC Lille.

As alluded to above, however, it was not Rennes' fanbase who proved most vocal online when it came to judging Spence's debut display.
Instead, the England youth international piqued widespread attentions amongst supporters of his parent club.
Evidently impressed by what they were witnessing, those of a Tottenham persuasion, in turn, flooded to social media in their absolute droves.
This came as serious questions were asked of head coach Antonio Conte, owing to his resistance to make use of Spence's talents over the first half of the term.
Check out some of the highlights from across Twitter below:
I love Conte and back him whatever but not playing Spence and leaving him out way he did was so clearly a huge mistake.

Watching Rennes v Lille on BT Sport. Djed Spence is having a very good debut. This makes Conte come across as extremely petty tbh. Rodon again decent too.

Spence showing that he's far better than the Conte apologists have given him credit for.
At some point you're going to have to admit your messiah chose his stubborness over the benefit of the team.
Could we have had a few more points this season if he would have played ????
Djed Spence has been brilliant this half. Conte has blood on his hands
Who knew? Djed Spence is a player... Obviously, not Antonio Conte. ???? #COYS
Fuck Conte man ffs
What a player Spence is, when that Italian wigman leaves my club we're gonna have Pedro Porro & Spence as our wingbacks ?? https://t.co/ZfH2naK0E3
The boy has ability and is good enough to play in the first team. Conte's issue is personal...
Spence >>>> Emerson
Rodon >>> dier
Conte you got blood in your hands ???
Love Conte. Back Conte. But Djed Spence man ?
Spence is making Conte look more and more silly by the minute in this game tonight.
